I have been creating original artwork since I was a child. I love living in the desert southwest, surrounded by stunning vistas and inspiring natural works of art. I try to capture some of this spirit in the jewelry I design and handcraft for you.
I am a disabled student, so this is a very small scale business - I make the pendants myself, by hand, with no machinery. I take straight lengths of metal and carefully sculpt them into shape with my hands, using a few simple hand tools to secure the metal. Your purchase helps me pay for school, medical bills, and other expenses, so thank you for taking the time to visit my website! I start with the raw materials, straight lengths of copper and sterling silver wire, natural and add gem stones, beads and unique carved focal pieces. I spend time to consider the unique gift of each item and when I have the perfect vision of what I want to make, start to carefully sculpt the wire by hand so that it creates a beautiful frame. Each piece is one a kind, I could never exactly duplicate the curves of a previous piece. Many of the natural stones and other items also are one of a kind with their own character and coloration. I am so glad that you are here visiting my website and hope you enjoy my artwork! Sincerely, Kristina |
